Summary:
This book is about a boy running errands with his mom. They dropped off clothes at the laundromat, got his mother's hair cut at the beauty salon, then he got a vanilla cone. They walked past the pet store, and picked up his father's shoes at the shoe repair store, and then to the supermarket to get food for dinner. Finally, they went back to the laundromat to get the clothes they dropped off, only to be caught in heavy traffic because of construction. Once, they got to their apartment, kids were playing stickball, and they were very happy to be back in their quiet home. He tried to fall asleep on the couch, but from the bathroom, the water faucet was making a plunk sound.

Teacher Evaluation:
I'm not a fan of this book, nor do I know how to use this for my students in the classroom. I would just use it for fun reading.
