Summary:
This book is about a little boy who has a new little sister. His parents have taken his old belongs, his cradle, high chair and crib, and painted them pink for his little sister. He spots his old chair that they haven't painted yet, takes it and decides to run away. He runs away to his front porch, and sets up his things. He tired to sit in the chair, but realized that he is too big. His mother calls out the window and asks if he will come back, because she has something special for lunch. He moved his stuff back in but tricked him mother about where in the house he was. His father asked him if he wanted to paint the little chair together, and they did.

Teacher Evaluation:
I would use this book for students who are welcoming new siblings. I would show how we love our things and they hold great memories, but we out grow them. Giving them to the new baby, is a act of kindness because now they can make memories, and we can share those when we get older.
