Title: If You Give A Moose A Muffin
Author: Laura Joffe Numeroff
Genre: Fantasy
Age Group: 5-7
Awards: N/A

Summary:
This book is about a boy who gave a moose a muffin, and the moose wanted jam to go with it. He wanted more and more until they were all eaten up, then the boy had to go to the store, and the moose realized it was cold so he wanted a sweater. The moose realized a button was missing so he wanted to sew one on the sweater. The buttons reminded him of the sock puppets his mother use to make so he will want to make one of those, and then he wanted to put on a show. After the moose cleaned up the mess, he wanted to hang the sheet out to dry and he saw the blackberry bushes, which reminded him of the blackberry jam. The jam reminded him of the muffins he had eaten earlier.

Teacher Evaluation:
I would use this book to help teach students about reasonability, as well as repetition. Reasonability in regards to cleaning up after themselves, and to not interact with wild animals. Repetition because the book repeats itself and the students know whats gonna happen next.
